Framed De Zavala Blue Texas Flag | Real Cotton Cloth Embroidered Flag | 29L X 41W" Inches
The first official flag of the Republic of Texas, the De Zavala Flag was designed by General Lorenzo de Zavala. The flag was adopted by the Convention held at Washington-on-the-Brazos in 1836, shortly after the victory at San Jacinto. The flag had a blue background with a white star in the center. Around the five-pointed star were the letters T-E-X-A-S, with a letter at each point. This flag (along with the Burnet Flag) served as a national flag of Texas until the current state flag was adopted.
Our framed flags are delivered ready to hang, with wire hangers included and no additional framing needed. Each flag is embroidered on a cotton cloth and then handcrafted, steamed, ironed & pinned down to ensure the placement & quality within the frame.
